HISTORY+CULTURE+NATURE+OUR REGION

Originally, this LTTA was planned as C3 for October 2020. However, the Covid-19 pandemic caused its postponement to May 2022. Not only date was changed, but almost all planned activities had to be replaced with similar ones because the original ones were booked on the new dates or didn’t exist anymore. The fencing and old weapons activity was replaced with a tour of the Chateau and a presentation of historic uniforms and weapons by a member of the historic fencing group. The photography activities were replaced with the Flower Garden activity with creating and editing videos. The Guide of important trees was replaced with actual planting trees activity – which also enabled us to cooperate with the Town Hall. The agricultural activities in Zerlina were replaced with the visit to the Goat Farm Vizovice. The additional activities were chosen to fit the main idea of the LTTA – to present the culture and nature in the historical context (Vizovice distillery, Zlín, Velehrad). Monday: Welcome Ceremony with presentations of architectural UNESCO heritage sites of each country. Student-guided tour of the hosting school. Teambuilding activities in the schoolyard. Tuesday: Guided tour of Kroměříž (students guides) - studying the architecture of a historic town, historic costume show in front of the Chateau, Kroměříž Chateau tour. Flower Garden – creating and editing videos. Wednesday: Modrá Voda - Outdoor Museum Modrá and „Modrá voda“ – the biodiversity of the region and its history (the 9th century Moravia, Cyril and Methodius, the introduction of Christianity in the region), gathering material for the final products of the project. Walk to Velehrad. Thursday: Rudolf Jelínek Vizovice, Goat Farm Vizovice, Guided tour of Zlín - studying the architecture of a modern town. Friday: Closing Ceremony in the school hall, evaluating and reflecting on the week. Presentation of the videos created in the Flower Garden. Planting trees activity – symbolic contribution to the natural and cultural heritage of the town of Kroměříž – symbolically, this was the last activity of the project that somehow concluded the main ideas of the whole project. Planting new vegetation in the historic town, connecting its nature and culture, connecting the past, the present and the future. The majority of the activities were conducted by the Erasmus+ team of teachers cooperating in this project and the participating students. In some activities, other teachers of the hosting school were involved (e.g. historic uniforms and weapons activity). Some guides and presenters came from the organizations that provided the activities (tour of Zlín, Kromeriz Chateau, goat farm, distillery). The LTTA was an important event at the school. The principal and the deputies were involved in the ceremonies where they stressed their interest in strengthening international cooperation. The school pupils attended some activities (e.g. the Welcome Ceremony) or even participated in them (school choir).
